Wet and Colder

As a cold front pushes east towards Middle Tennessee later tonight and tomorrow morning, scattered showers will overspread our area. Showers will last through mid morning tomorrow. Most of the moisture then leaves our area, but some could be left over for a few flurries to fly on the plateau. As seen below, it is not out of the question that if more moisture hangs around then projected on some models, then we could see a few rain or snow showers across our area. I do not think either way that we would see much in the way of accumulation because of the lack of moisture, warm surface temperatures, and warm ground temperatures. However, by Sunday morning, a few areas along the Highland Rim and Cumberland Plateau could have a light dusting of snow on some elevated surfaces.
