Evening Notes

Below is an updated forecast this evening from the NWS. I will resume posting weekly planners tomorrow. Added a search bar in the upper right hand corner of the page if anyone wants to search anything specifically from this blog. 750 PM CST THU DEC 25 2008.

UPDATE...ISENTROPIC RAIN EVENT DEVELOPING FOR THE OVERNIGHT
HOURS...ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHERN AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE MIDSTATE. SHOWERS
ARE ALREADY KNOCKING ON OUR DOOR ALONG THE ALABAMA BORDER AND BELIEVE THE
AREA OF SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ADVANCING NORTHEAST OVERNIGHT. HAVE RAISED
POPS TO CATEGORICAL
ACROSS THE SOUTH, AND CONTINUED THE BANDING OF "
LIKELY" POPS AND "CHANCE" POPS FURTHER
NORTH. HAVE ALSO GONE WITH A MORE WIDESPREAD
OVC ISENTROPIC DECK
BY SUNRISE FRIDAY. HAVE ADJUSTED TEMPERATURES TO INDICATE LOWER EXPECTATIONS
ACROSS THE NORTH THIS EVENING, IN ADVANCE OF THE WARMING TREND AFTER
MIDNIGHT.
