This very dynamic and complicated system has finally arrived. Its time now to throw out the models and nowcast. So lets take a look at whats going on out there right now.

  • Rainfall has begun to fall across middle Tennessee. It looks as if the precipitation at this time is pushing and little farther north than expected.
  • Wintry mix and snow is falling across western Louisianna and eastern Texas at this time.
  • Winter storm warning has been issued for most of central and southern Mississippi.

Lets now take a look at some temperatures across Tennessee, to see just how close we are with this event.

  • 34 Memphis
  • 33 Paris
  • 35 Savannah
  • 38 Nashville
  • 35 Clarksville

Parts of west Tennessee could see some light freezing drizzle toward sunrise, so please be advised of some isolated slick spots.
