Thunderstorms Tonight, Not Severe

A cold front is rapidly approaching from the west and will spread rain and thunderstorms into our area around 10pm or shortly after. The squall line is expected to weaken as it enters our area but a few strong storms can not be ruled out with some isolated wind damage. Behind the front will be some cooler air with highs tomorrow staying in the low 50's. Lows tomorrow night will dip down around the freezing mark. The upcoming week looks to remain pretty dry and seasonable for the most part. Another chance of rain towards the end of the upcoming week, which could taper off as a few flurries on the backside. Its been a nice spring like break from the cold weather, but winter looks to return in the upcoming week. The beginning of January is looking quite chilly with several shots at precipitation. We will take those and look at them as we get farther down the road.
