The upcoming storm system will be able to tap copious amounts of gulf moisture. Rain and storms on Tuesday and Tuesday night could approach flash flood guidance levels in Middle Tennessee. This is something we will have to watch closely for the potential for some isolated flash flooding. Here is the general area of concern currently from HPC.
