Forecast Discussion
December 1, 2008 4pm
Middle Tennessee
Short Term:
Cant rule out a few left over flurries this evening as moisture continues to spiral around our low to the ne. The higher elevations of the Cumberland Plateau could still see a half and inch to a full inch of snowfall tonight. A winter weather advisory is in effect for those areas. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the 40's and lows dipping way down into the twenties.
Mid Term:
Cloudy conditions move into the area Wednesday afternoon with a likely chance of showers Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Temperatures will be in the 30's Wed. night for the most part, so could have some p-type issues for areas to the north and west of Nashville. Thursday will be cloudy to start with some leftover showers possible that could at times be mixed with snow. But at this time will leave that period of precip as just rain until better confidence is there for more wintry weather across Middle Tennessee. Friday will be dry will cool conditions.
Long Term: This weekend into early next week will be dry with cooler temperatures.
