Cold Then Warm

Temperatures tonight will plunge in the low and mid 20's for most folks across the basin. Some outlying colder spots could even dip into the teens briefly in the morning. Tomorrow morning starts out cold but will gradually warm up throughout the day under mostly sunny skies. By Saturday, rain showers will push back into our area from the northwest. This rain will slide to the east and southeast throughout the day ushering in much cooler temperatures for the afternoon and evening. At this time however, it looks like most precipitation will be gone before cold enough temperatures arrive for any snowfall. The one exception as usual would be on the Cumberland Plateau where a quick dusting of snow will be possible. After that, things will dry out and warm up next week with no more winter weather in the foreseeable future at this time. Spring is right around the corner now so the up and down rollar coaster will continue in March as we gradually change seasons. I am having problems getting the 5 day to load to shutterfly so will work on getting that posted later. God Bless.
