I do not have as much time to post daily forecast and such. I will however continue to post daily discussion when the weather is interesting as well as posting pictures and fun weather stories and maybe even more off topic things such as Nashville Predators discussions, political discussions. Volunteer will be left up for quite some time however. Thanks to all who have commented and interacted over the past several years and made Volunteer Weather worth it.

Fall Changes

Making a few changes to the blog as fall begins. If you have any suggestions, comments, etc please just leave me a comment and I will see what I can do. Thank you for your patience as I try to get everything figured out for the fall season.

Im Back!!

Ok Ok. I have been gone. If anyone noticed. :) School has been busy and well some personal matters had me elsewhere mentally but I am back. Still gonna be busy for another month but hopefully I can get back into the daily posting once again. More on the severe weather threat shortly.

Early In The Morning

What are earth am I doing up this late at night? Who knows. Getting up for church in the morning is going to present some problems. Lord be with me. Anywho. I have been busy updating the site today. I was wantind to try a few things as well. I added some music for your listening pleasure while viewing the site. You can email me anything you want to be posted on the site and maybe that will be my next song. Let me know what you think of the new tools etc.

Due to some scheduling conflicts this afternoon, the Forecast Discussion package will be delayed somewhat. I hope to have it out to you by 6pm. I am sorry for this delay, but I will be out and away between 3 and 5ish so as soon as I get back, I will work on getting that out. Looks like rain anyways.

Site Announcement

Volunteer Weather is continuing to grow and I would like to bring on one or two more weather enthusiasts that would like to take part in forecasting weather or posting weather stories concerning middle Tennessee. Below are the open positions available. Please contact Snowman asap if you are interested.

Forecaster Position:
Need someone who would be comfortable with posting a forecast discussion type post pretty regulary. Details can be worked out with a schedule and such as needed.

Blog Writer:
Need someone who would be comfortable with posting weather stories or weather news as it relates to Middle Tennesee. This could be current weather or past weather. This poster could post whenever they wanted. Preferably at least twice a week.

Forecast and an Update on the Wintry System is forthcoming. I am suffering from something like a sinus infection so sorry for not updating today.

Reminder

Just a reminder to everyone that tomorrow will mark Winter Weather Awareness here at Volunteer Weather. I will be posting some information tomorrow to remind everyone of the dangers of winter weather as well as some safety tips. I will also republish my Winter 08-09 outlook that was put out in October. So be on the lookout for that information tomorrow.
