Update on Wintry System

For snowlovers, things are looking up in the weather department. I believe you will see even more mets jump on the possibility of some wintry weather for this weekend into early next week. I continue to lean conservatively on this forecast and try to not get everyones hopes up. However, I do feel much more confident now that some parts of Middle Tennessee will see some minor snow accumulation come Monday. Here is a preliminary thought at what I am thinking. Places of elevation, such as the plateau could have a chance at seeing an inch or so. Other areas of Middle Tennessee will see flurries with possibly a dusting. If the models continue to look good after tonights model runs, then I will post an extensive look at what I am thinking including a WinterCast accumulation map. Stay Tuned.

Hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving. Praise God for all he does!

10pm Update: I am currently working on some graphics as I analyze the latest models coming in tonight. Interesting things to say the least. Middle Tennessee could be in for our first serious winter weather threat this season. Going to work on some things for a while and then will post a good size post with several graphics. Stay Tuned!

I'm liking your thinking on this system. I'm being extra conserative with my forecast as well and will post an accumulation map on this system if need be. But for the snowlovers you are right, this is a good start to the winter season.
